The below poem was written by one of my sannyasins,
Ma Prem Asango, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA,
and I share it with you, for it has the fragrance of love.
For a Man of Unconditional
Love
Jasmine, ylang ylang, and lilies.
In smelling the flowers of love
He knows the need to share what
he does the most.
A loved woman, to respond in appreciation
instinctively, who knows his understanding heart.
One woman still sensual and lovely
who had more physical beauty in form in years past
came to him and asked,
"Master, is there time still for me
to love and make love for eternity?"
She says, "I am waiting for that eternal embrace
that has not yet come."
The wish for that to be part of my existence
has never diminished
Her mouth anticipated the magical caress
as if it could transform her soul.
She intently awaited as a dove that coos
for her true mate..
A lover she could see with her adoring eyes...
Yet, with her Master...
love she had never known, was felt in his presence.
She was enticed by his charisma, his scent, his whole being,
listening to his voice, so full of depth, with the
resonance of an operatic star..
She traveled to meet him.
Once again in her golden years
the flower of her beauty was felt
A radiance.. the look of a new mother...
one who had birthed a special child
after much labor.
She saw past the heartbreak
and sadness which had ruled his world
in earlier years...
With her own unconditional love, she saw
He was not one to share honor with many,
and seemed to have found himself in an ascetic retreat
maybe never needing anyone.
In her, the heat, the fire of her being was cooled
with the balance of transcending love
she, in this heaven of soul asks for him to
share grace and peace with her.
Not longing for anything but the understanding
that their love be stronger than any fleshly pull.
That they wait in abeyance
for a meeting at a special time
where they envelope each other
In love forever to heal the world they now live in
perhaps in liberation from desire....
They can dance
among the stars and fairy dust.
I am in your heart...

~ Ma Prem Asango ~
Thank you Asango for your sharing
You long for love,
and it is right beside you
and within you
What is this thing called "love?"
Love...a word emotionally woven into all cultures,
yet so few understand its significance
...its essential meaning.
Only through dance, song, art, poetry
and opening your simple presence
can you truly experience
and express
this phenomenon
of the heart.
Love is simply letting go
of all the fear in the heart.
It is being prepared to let go
totally
...to die of this world
and all attachments
to anyone or anything.
Love is the fertile ground in which enlightenment grows
Love is the Unknown of Bliss.
Love...the nothing point of all existence
...is beyond time and space.
Love connects you to a Divine state
Love is God
....and you become that when you are
truly in this state of consciousness.
Love & Blessings to All,
Swami Nostradamus Virato
