Jamuna... With acoustic guitar in hand, and her back up band on disc plus a selection of mostly Russian songs, and a few she's learned for America, Jamuna takes you on a passionate Russian journey into your heart and soul. She sings from the heart, A graduate of Moscow University and Moscow's Classical School of Music (Russia's leading college for jazz and popular music),Jamuna, who was a member of the Communist Youth League in school. However she also secretly snuck into churches when she was a schoolgirl for which she was severely chastised. She left mainstream music soon after college, preferring to play on the streets of Moscow...and in the nearby forests to "really reach the people, and find myself" as she says. Today her albums are selling well, and she has made two excellent award-winning videos. The granddaughter of an Arab nomad, Jamuna is the hottest heart throb in Russia, Poland ...and now America. She appeals to those with a soft heart anywhere...and has no problem psychically seducing her audience with her energy, having studied Master Mantak Chia's Taoist methods, and attending Swami Virato's powerful Tantra event in Russia... |

Jamuna is not political. . . rather she brings her "on-stage-diva" persona to life, using her spiritual knowledge to hypnotize her audiences. Swami Virato (the Tantric Master) and Jamuna fell in love in St. Petersburg, Russia this past September, and he was delighted to bring her to this country as his lover, friend and business associate. Although some of her music is traditional, Jamuna is far from starchy or conservative. With her penetrating smile, she enjoys interacting with her audiences, and loves to attend after-performance parties. She has already been seen dancing atop a bar in Asheville, NC. She loves animals, pivot (beer), taking ice foot baths, and staying up to the wee hours of the morning. Jamuna is HOT!
