George W. Bush...what to do? This ain’t really about Dubya. The United States of America, though the representation of George W. Bush, is fostering a closed-minded, stupid, and a hate infested energy into the world. He is the tip of the iceberg. Now is the time to bring youthful, loving energy back unto the planet, just as was done in the 1960's. A missile defense system would up the ante in the global arms race, by raising fears among other nuclear powers that the US might try a first strike. This prospect would force them to develop more aggressive missile launch capabilities, dangerously escalating the arms race. This is true even if the system doesn't work, which is a real risk. Missile defense technologies have failed in so many recent tests that critics have begun labeling the idea "faith-based missile defense." Yet it will be enormously expensive. Weapons contractors will reap multi-billion dollar deals at taxpayer expense, diverting funds from real priorities like education and adding to budget deficits. And our kids will inherit a more dangerous world, the biggest cost of all. Help stop the administration's reckless missile defense plan. Assist me in replacing the weapons of war, or fear of war, with the tools of love. Of course, I am not the first to have said this. Fear is a disease. It in fact is the essence of all disease. When there is harmony, homeostasis and awareness, the fearful, aggressive nature of humans shall transform. People fear their neighbors, their friends and even their kin. So how in heaven's name are they NOT going to fear other nations and cultures? This disease starts with FEARING GOD! What a horrible, sick concept...to FEAR GOD! What a destructive thing to plant in anyone's consciousness. To have fear of a God that is supposed to be omnipotent. It’s about as bad as believing in the Devil! If GOD IS LOVE, how in heaven's name can we ever FEAR God. NO MATTER WHAT?! It was Sir Winston Churchill who once said of the German's attacking England, "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself." I would now say that we can even let that fear go. I advocate a union with the Divine instead.... Many philosophies, religions and traditions have said God is love, this is not new concept for sure. Isn't it time to drop the fear and feel the joy of life? The problem isn’t George W. Bush, for even if he were not to be president...there's always another Bush in the bushes! It goes back to the essence of fear. FEAR always creates a "not good feeling" in the body, and then we react. One way is with violence, trying to remove fear like swiping at a biting mosquito. Unfortunately, another mosquito is usually not far behind. For those with reserve, they stuff their fears, causing them to surface at some later time as aberrant behavior, addictions, physical illness or ultimately in a psychological volcano of violence and mass killing, or the support of same. I was shocked when I saw a recent poll in TIME Magazine showing over half the people favoring of war with China should China invade Taiwan. FEAR IS A DISEASE. While fear is with you, you cannot fully function. In many cases fear is much like hypertension (high blood pressure), in that you do not know it is even with you. You may call it "tradition," "conservatism," "shyness," or whatever, yet it is simply another word fear. Fear of failure, Fear of success. Fear of the Chinese, Fear of evil. Fear of the bogeyman. Fear of the IRS, Fear of the intruder. Fear of the bully. Fear of the rapist. Fear of losing your job. Fear of the criminal, Fear of the salesman, Fear of intimacy, Fear of your boyfriend, Fear of your girlfriend, Fear of your wife. Fear of snakes. Fear of your teacher. Fear of killer kids, Fear of the bomb, Fear of people. Fear of God! Fear, Fear, Fear…it’s thicker than Chattanooga split pea soup! The big dilemma is that people don’t think they have fear! Some folks even live out their deep fear through NASCAR or hunting. People must first see and face their deeply rooted and masked fear, before love can start to filter though. Where there is fear there is no love. Where there is love there is peace, bliss, joy, ecstasy. Since the year or so I have been in Chattanooga, I hear a lot of love, but I don’t really see or feel much love. It’s more like sticky syrup than love. Don’t matter to me, since I love everyone anyway. It matters to you folk! In the next two weeks I leave for Russia for three months where I will be working with Russian Army officers and former KGB operatives who are ready to understand how love can transform their country. I bring them Tantra. Tantra is a path to allow fear to disappear and love to emerge. To learn of Tantra this very second, take a deep breath. And another really d e e p and full. As you breath out simply allow your body to relax from the shoulders on down. Go ahead. Do it. Now think of an ecstatic time in your life. Joy...remember the feeling. Remember to a time when you simply felt love throughout you body... Now continue by going to the below Website and beginning your journey of love. Later, take a walk and smell some flowers...
