Virato's guest today, Justine Bartlett is spokesperson for Matrix Energetics, and the daughter of Richard Bartlett, founder of Matrix Energetics. In 1996, while attending Bastyr University of Naturopathic Medicine, and working full time in his day job as a chiropractor, Richard Bartlett claims to have experienced a life changing event which redirected the entire course of his clinical experience. Call it a mystical occurrence, spiritual vision, outright hallucination, or  the experience of being ' naturally right', suddenly the act of lightly touching a patient with focused intent created dramatic, often startling changes. Bones would realign themselves, chronic pain patterns would disappear often with only one brief session, scoliosis curvatures would re align right before my eyes.”

“As time went on this phenomenon seemed to grow stronger, sometimes each week revealing new and marvelous outcomes. Chronic conditions began to change even though they were often not even a conscious focus for the treatment. In addition people began to report that their emotional states, belief patterns, their very lives were mysteriously being transformed. Better yet these changes appeared to continue over time. My practice, always emotionally satisfying, became a profound ,and deeply moving day to day experience.”

Bartlett says this entirely new paradigm utilizes the principles and science of Subtle Energy, and Quantum physics, coupled with the  power of active imagination and focused intent to produce physical verifiable effects that often defy rational explanation. Miracles happen every day, Matrix Energetics provides a technology and scientific framework to allow for their every day occurrence

Many Native Americans on reservations have no heat in the winter, and many communities rely solely on wood burning stoves for heat. Irony? In some places, even wood is hard to find.

Will native American children be warm this winter? Will they have a bed with sheets and blankets? Warm food? Boots and gloves? Many children on the reservations will have none of these things.

Last year the first blizzard hit early in November, leaving thousands without food and electricity for weeks. The damage by the worst winter in 80 years left its mark: roofs fell in, black mold increased, and now, food banks have either closed or started to charge the hungry. This year for many will be even harder then the last.

On Cheyenne River, in South Dakota, food banks that fed the homeless and destitute have closed, leaving families already in dire straits hungry without hope.

Virato speaks with Christine Rose of the advocacy group, Changing Winds, on what we can do to help. She says, "Our focus has always been on the children, and this year is no different. We continue to reach out to the Lakota children in the greatest need.

with Ed Klein, MD

Virato’s guest today is Ed Klein, author of Soul Search: the Healing Possibilities of Past Lives, Assistant Professor, in the Department of Psychiatry, at the University of South Florida Medical School, and a nationally recognized performance consultant to businesses, entertainers and professional athletes in  the  NHL, NFL and U.S. Figure Skating Association.

Klein received his MD from New York University, and his Psychiatric residency at NYU’s Bellevue Hospital where he was Chief Resident. He also did a stint in the military  as Lieutenant Commander in the Navy. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Psychiatric Association and the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis

Dr. Klein may have been one of the most unlikely candidates to have the secrets and potential miracles of past-life regression revealed to him. He is a traditionally trained psychiatrist whose accomplishments had been enviable, though certainly not revolutionary…until one fateful day many years ago.

What had started out as an exploration into a client’s childhood, using the technique of age regression, became--startlingly!—a regression back through The Ages. The client had, quite unexpectedly, bypassed her current childhood, responding from a vantage point some 2,000 years earlier.

Like so many of history’s great explorers, Klein had not been hunting for treasure when it presented itself to him. But when it did, he knew he had to explore further, despite the fact that accepting the possibility of past lives flew in the face of his scientific training.

Now, the healing potential of past-life regression has proven itself many times over, not only in Dr. Klein’s pacesetting work, but to a ground swell of physicians and researchers, including Larry Dossey, MD, Ray Moody, MD, Brian Weiss, MD and others.

In 1989 Virato’s guest today, South African-born Michael Brown, developed an acutely painful neurological condition called Horton’s Syndrome. After four years of suffering through conventional medical approaches he embarked on a quest to heal his experience. In 1993 this intention unfolded into a nine-year odyssey that took him beyond the borders of his home country. In San Francisco he studied Massage and Reiki Therapy. He also crossed the border to Mexico and participated in ceremonies with the Huichol Indians.

As Brown’s quest to find relief unfolded, he began entering what he calls  “present moment awareness,” which he says is a state of heightened consciousness that appeared to be running parallel to his conventional and mundane world experience. Brown claims that his repeated entry into this enlivened state of being, which he says he accomplished through indigenous ceremonial practice and conscious breathing, he says resulted in a decrease of his own painful condition to the point that it subsided completely.

In the late 90s he began to chart a methodical pathway into present moment awareness that he states anyone, anywhere, can do to initiate this experience for themselves. This procedure became known as The Presence Process.

In 2002 Brown returned to South Africa and invited others to experience this inner journey. He discovered that as others embraced present moment awareness they too automatically experienced release from physical, mental, and emotional discomfort, including psychological disorders and addictions. To make this journey accessible to everyone Michael wrote The Presence Process: A Healing Journey Into Present Moment Awareness. His latest book is called Alchemy of the Heart.

Michael Brown continues to live in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he shares his knowledge through personal facilitation.
